" Please Pray For Kim Johnson "

My close friend, my supervisor ( @ the post office ), & the grovee women that got me road cycling, Kim Johnson was badly injured while road cycling this past thursday. I was in vegas when she texted 2 c if i could go @ 4:30 from the bloomington bridge that day. So i wasn't on the ride when it happen. She was crossing the bridge right before the knolls @ about 25 miles an hour with all of the other St.george Sunday Road Riders in our riding group, when her front tire barely nicked the base of an orange road cone & sent her handle bars sidways & she flew over the handle bars & hit the front of her head above her front right eye. She was wearing a helmet, as We ALL DO!!!! She was knocked onconcious & still is. She was life flighted to utah valley med. center that night. She has swelling, fluid, & bleeding on the brain. Her right shoulder (scapula) is shattered in 5 pieces, & 4 facial fractures from her right cheek bone up. Myself, Dara, & (her bro), Kole, got a flight up 2 c her yesterday from her brother in law & sister in a private plane yesterday morning. She was in a coma when we got 2 c her & still is (she still is beauitful as ever & had her mascra still on :) We just talked 2 her & held her hand & rubber her arms. We keep telling her that we have that tripp planned to hawaii in september so 2 get up & get going so we can get tan & ready 4 hawaii !!! She is a very tuff & awesome spirited girl & we all know she will fight through this! We flew back & just got home. While we were in the airport her husband Dave called & said, that the doctor had just came in & that she tried to wave her hands when he asked her to hold up two fingers. SaNd HoLLoW Fun

We had a fun time @ sand hollow this weekend with the kids. We left our house on the rhino & headed 2 the sand dunes first. (The kido's had a blast rolling down the sand hills!) Then off 2 play in the lake. It was a beautiful, fun, warm day! we all got a lil' sun burnt too!! Can't wait 4 more HEAT!!! :) They all wanted 2 jump in the lake, but it's not that warm just yet. Bass Fishin Fun !!

Andy & i did a little Bass Fishing today at Sand hollow , (our kido's r with their other parents :( It was still pretty cold but it was alot of fun anyway. Andy caught 3 Bass & i caught none!! Dang! Yep he said oh, get a picture with mine :) i tried hard 2 get mine in the boat, but it fought to hard & got off. Better luck next time huh? He's a pro, so he thinks :)

"AsPeN's ExCiTiNg WeeK"

Aspen had a way cool week last week!! First Andy took her training wheels off her bike & off she went like she'd been doing it forever. She was soo EXCITED, she said now i can stop sucking my thumb next, since i can ride my bike with no training wheels!! I said yes, yes :) Then later in the week she pulled her own front tooth out. it was a little scary at first cause when she brushed her teeth that night the tooth brushing flipped her tooth around in her mouth so it looked like her tooth was backwards in her mouth. it was awful!! But sure enough she twisted it right out when i told her the tooth fairy would come & leave her money!! $$ Aspen's prize front tooth! ready 4 the tooth fairy
