we went to quail lake on sat. august 2nd, after we had already been to the skim board park earlier that morning, but the kids were up 4 it. we met Andy's parents & our other cousins there. (Megan, Austin, Abby, grandpa & grandma sorensen), they brought their boat.

the kids had lots of fun. i didn't get many pictures cause my battery died. dang! the boys were on the boat most of the time so i didn't get photos of all of them, only Andy & stetson.

it was my first time 2 knee board. WOW!!!!!! i was way sore the next day & still am today on Tuesday, it's pretty straining on those muscles that never get used.

skim board park

andy, me, hunter, kylee, aspen, cousin stetson, tyrese, & tya went to the skim board park saturday morning after our fun sleep over with all the kido's.

they all had soo much fun! they all were KNEE deep in mudd! we stayed for about an hour & then headed to the lake, where we meet more cousins & grandpa & ma sorensen to wake board.

it was a fun busy day!!!!!

after the festivities of the 24th we had 2 drop our kiddo's 2 their other parents 4 the weekend. they couldn't go cause their dad was getting married, & kylee was with her mom.

so Andy & i headed 4 Ike's valley on cedar moun. when we got there uncle Ryan, moon, heath, Des, & Hudson were already there.

the next day (Friday) Melanie, Scott , tyrese, tya, Talia, & Tripp came up 2 join all of us. we had too much fun. the kids had a blast, but we all wished that our kids were there to play with all the kidos there.

we roasted mello's & ate lots of great dutch oven food.

Saturday we went 2 the mammoth caves. wow was that a fun challenge army crawling on our tummys, but lots of fun. every one did great, even little hudson, he was a trooper. he stood up & bonked his head in the cave & poor des had 2 army crawl while holding him. she had lots of bumps & bruises, but a tuff moma. we all had a few battle wounds.

mela stayed up top with tripp & scott took the girls in the caves. they did awesome & had fun.

we went on a few rides on the rhino with the kids, & the guys saw big bucks on the 4 wheelers. they all shot their bows, gettin ready 4 the bow hunt.

we played a mean game of phase 10, & i kicked butt & won,( even though scott was teasing me the whole time, calling me CRACKLES & LJ) ha ha funny!

sunday we played a little baseball before heading home. it was a great time!

thursday july 24th we picked kylee & her lil' brother zyon up to take them with us 2 the washington city parade & activities @ the park. we sat in front of red desert construction's new bussiness buliding project, on telegraph.we, melanie, scott, & kids, kaysha, malia,& kids, marg, marque,newt & boys all sat together to watch. the parade was fun the kids all got lots of candy.

after we ventured over to the kids races. they all did so good. aspen won in her age group 1st place. they gave her 50 cents & a free snow cone. she was way excited.

all the kids bought their own tickets with their allowance $. they had a great time, fishing, golfing, dunk tanking, & face painting.

after we went to lunch, & dropped kylee & zyon off to their moms work, & then dropped hunter & aspen off to their dad's.

it was their weekends 2 be with their other halfs :) (parents).
