" Please Pray For Kim Johnson "

My close friend, my supervisor ( @ the post office ), & the grovee women that got me road cycling, Kim Johnson was badly injured while road cycling this past thursday. I was in vegas when she texted 2 c if i could go @ 4:30 from the bloomington bridge that day. So i wasn't on the ride when it happen. She was crossing the bridge right before the knolls @ about 25 miles an hour with all of the other St.george Sunday Road Riders in our riding group, when her front tire barely nicked the base of an orange road cone & sent her handle bars sidways & she flew over the handle bars & hit the front of her head above her front right eye. She was wearing a helmet, as We ALL DO!!!! She was knocked onconcious & still is. She was life flighted to utah valley med. center that night. She has swelling, fluid, & bleeding on the brain. Her right shoulder (scapula) is shattered in 5 pieces, & 4 facial fractures from her right cheek bone up. Myself, Dara, & (her bro), Kole, got a flight up 2 c her yesterday from her brother in law & sister in a private plane yesterday morning. She was in a coma when we got 2 c her & still is (she still is beauitful as ever & had her mascra still on :) We just talked 2 her & held her hand & rubber her arms. We keep telling her that we have that tripp planned to hawaii in september so 2 get up & get going so we can get tan & ready 4 hawaii !!! She is a very tuff & awesome spirited girl & we all know she will fight through this! We flew back & just got home. While we were in the airport her husband Dave called & said, that the doctor had just came in & that she tried to wave her hands when he asked her to hold up two fingers.
